All I can say is Carla Katz picked well when it came to the decision of who to fool around with. Since breaking it off with the then-U.S. Senator and soon-to-be Governor, Katz had her $470,000 home loan paid for, and now questions abound about Corzine's connection with the $1.1 millions condo in the Hudson Tea Building she just bought.
And let's not forget why she bought the condo; to have someplace to live while according to the Star-Ledger, $550,000 in work is being done to her house. All this on a $100,000 salary.
She reminds me of the guy in Goodfellas, when right after the crime had been committed, and the crew were all supposed to be on the lamb, in walks in this guy with a new fur coat, and a bright and shinny new Cadillac.
If I were Corzine, I would talk about it. I'd be pissed!
