McGreevey to become a priest...seriously

According to the Star-Ledger, our good friend, former New Jersey Governor James McGreevey, has converted to the Episcopal faith and has begun a process to become an Episcopal Priest.

One of the best quotes I've heard about the incident came from Acting Governor Dick Codey, who according to PoliticsNJ said, "Just when you thought it couldn't get any wackier in New Jersey politics, it did."

And here's a link to a great parrallel by Wally Edge between McGreevey becoming an Episcopal priest, and George Costanza converting to the Latvian Orthodox faith:

Great cartoon, and great caricature of Letterman. McGreevey is just ridiculious, a caricature of himself. I can't believe at one time people respected him enough to vote for him to be governor!

Great gag! I love how there's so much going on. I read over it and really only payed attention to Letterman, then I looked closer and saw the breaking pencil and the coffee spitting. Awesome 'toon.

Saw the link on Aaron Taylor's page. Your Letterman is great.
