Today's Cartoon Preview

Here's a preview of Today's cartoon. Care to wager a guess as to what it's going to end up being?

From the files of Police Squad!

Here's a random page from my notebook...everyone's favorite Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Check back to this blog on Tuesday to see my Ahmadinejad cartoon. I don't know if you'll like it, but hopefully you have an opinion about it, and won't attempt to firebomb my house.

Delaware Press Association

Sorry, I have nothing new to post today. Last night I attended the Delaware Press Association's annual awards dinner, so I'm a day behind with my cartoons.

To wet your appetite, here are a couple of sketches for cartoons I'll finish tonight. See if you can figure out what they're even about, and check back tomorrow to see the finished toons.

Heeeeeerrrrrrrreeeeeeee's Jaaaacccckkk!

Did this quick sketch of Jack Nicholson at work, and wanted to get it up, so here it is.

Enjoy!

Guess that cartoon!

I sketched my cartoon today at work, so I thought I'd post a sneak peak and see who can guess what it's going to be about. I'll finish the cartoon tonight and have it posted tomorrow morning, so check back and see how close you were.

Pile of Newspapers

Quick sketch of some papers on my desk that I did as I waited for Adobe Creative Suite to upgrade on my computer. I'm designing a new website for the newspaper I work, so I'll post my progress as I go (and what I'm allowed).

Meeting sketch

Just posting a quick sketch I did in a meeting today. All that gibberish floating around is head are notes that I'm supposed to read.

Oh well...

Bush in Delaware

The combination of Bush visiting delaware to tout his focus on the environment, and being bored while waiting on content for the paper, merged into this sketch of our fearless leader. To be honest, I had hoped to post more rough sketches and life drawings like this, but time hasn't been on my side.

Maybe this will get the train running.
