Baseball milestones

rob tornoe, tornoe, political cartoon, PoliticsNJ, Press of Atlantic City, Alex Rodriguez, 500 home runs, Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, 755 home runs, steroids

This weekend was a great one for baseball fans. First, Alex Rodriguez of the Yankees hit his 500th home run, becoming the youngest player in baseball history to reach that mark. Next, Barry Bonds tied Hank Aaron's all-time home run mark by hitting number 755 of his career. And finally, just last night, Tom Glavine reached the 300-win level by beating the Cubs in Wringley field.

Only one of these milestones were steroid related. Care to guess which one?

Here's the sketch:

Yeah, too bad Glavine didn't throw his 300th for the Braves. I bet you were just weeping as you watched the television, especially when your man-crush Smoltz called in :)
