Who Swatches the Swatchmen?



My buddy and former classmate Karl Savage posted this funny page that he did as an assignment during our second year at the Kubert School.

The assignment was to take pre-established characters and draw a one page narrative Advertisement of some sort, paying homage to those old superhero hostess ads that appeared in comics in the 70's and 80's.

Savage times

Usually, I don't allow myself to succumb to my buddy Karl Savage's "me-ness." But I just can't help myself. He has a MySpace photo gallery set up, and he updates it daily with a new picture of himself. You have to have a MySpace acount to check it out, but it's bizarly interesting. Here are some of my favorites:
