In today's New York Times, there's a good article on the Politicker sites. Go check it out. Bob Sommer, the president of the Observer Media Group, had this to say.
“We view this as one of the most ambitious projects right now in journalism. We’re basically creating 50 news bureaus with full-time reporters in each state.”
